COVID-19 virus named Corona disease is an infectious disease caused by a new virus. The disease causes respiratory illness (like the flu) with symptoms such as a cough, fever, and in more severe cases, difficulty breathing. You can protect yourself by washing your hands frequently, avoiding touching your face, and avoiding close contact (maintain 1.5 meters apart) with people who are unwell.

Coronaviruses are a large group of viruses that cause diseases in humans. The viruses can cause mild respiratory infections in humans, such as the common cold, which may lead to severe illnesses, such as pneumonia. There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease in 2019 (COVID-19).

Follow Hygenic Rule

  • Social Distancing (1.5 meters from others)
  • Self Isolation if diagnosed positive
  • Avoid handshaking, hugs and kisses
  • Avoid crowd
  • Avoid public gatherings
  • Travel when there is less people or at off peak times
  • Use tap and pay instead of cash
  • Work from home if necessary or where possible
  • Use video conferencing instead of going to meetings
  • Wear eye wear/glasses to avoid your eyes from getting into extra         contact with the airborne viruses
  • Wash your hands often
  • Carry hand sanitizer
  • Stop touching your face
  • Use elbow or shoulder to open the door
  • Wipe things down
  • Practise good hygiene
